About Me

  • I have been coaching now for 12 years. I have coached kids from the youngest ages of 4 all the way up to adults. With my background in soccer, I have been able to coach at many levels including clubs, academies and collegiately while also doing individual sessions. I have worked with some local clubs in Toronto (Etobicoke and Dixie) as well as some U.S clubs such as Rochester Rhinos academy, Nashville united Soccer association and Pittsburgh Riverhounds Academy, Birmingham futsal Club, Vestavia Soccer Club and Bowling Green State University as an assistant coach. I typically work with kids at the ages 8 -30, but am very comfortable with all ages.
  • I have played at both the collegiate and professional levels. I played for Bowling Green State University for 4 years, captained the team and won the falcon medal of honor for athletic accomplishments. Professionally, I have played professionally for 8 years now. I was drafted by Sporting Kanas City in the MLS, (becoming just the second player in BGSU program history to be selected in the MLS SuperDraft) played with Nashville SC, Rochester Rhinos and Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC, Birmingham Legion, and Halifax Wanderers. While at the Rhinos I won the Rookie of the year award and while at Pittsburgh, I captained the team and was player of the year for the club in 2020. I received the community service award while with the Wanderers in 2023. In my 8-year career I have played in over 200 professional matches during my career.

Sessions

Typically I adjust my sessions to work best with what an athlete (s) need. I love to do sessions involving technical work because it creates a fantastic base which will help the player grow. Passing and shooting are also highlighted with my sessions to work on repetitions and consistency. I am also a Kinesiology major so I try and incorporate functional movements at the beginning of sessions if the client wants a strength perspective of the game and a view of some good habits you should have as a professional.

Individual and group sessions focused on most importantly what the players need and can include:

-attacking -defending -technical -passing -shooting -crossings -positioning -game knowledge and understanding -first touch -agility
